For all the years I've been an Evangelical Christian, Roman Catholics have thrown Luke 1:28 to my face.
I found a great text on the blog Rational Christian Discernment that refutes this singular "blessedness" on which the Roman church bases many of its dogmas and hyperdulia to Mary, the mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
